第二届中外地理标志产品博览会圆满闭幕


 9月21日，第二届中外标志产品博览会暨中欧地理标志协定论坛在四川泸州正式闭幕。本届博览会以“强化地理标志保护，促进产业高质量发展”为主题，展示了来自国际上28个国家和地区、国内32个省市的3000多种地理标志产品。本届地标博览会累计吸引约30万人次进馆参观，400余名中外嘉宾线上线下参会。
 会后，欧盟委员会农业与农村发展总司向组委会发来贺信，祝贺第二届中外地理标志产品博览会取得圆满成功，其中特别指出欧盟地理标志展示馆在本届博览会上取得了令人瞩目的展示效果。

 今年是中欧地理标志保护与合作协定签署3周年，中外地理标志产品博览会组委会将继续以落实中欧双方领导人谈判成果为使命，深化中欧地理标志产业合作。

GIPE 2023 Closed with Remarkable Success


The Second Global Geographical Indications Products Expo & Forum of China-EU Agreement on Geographical Indications (“GIPE 2023”) was successfully closed on September 21. With the theme of “strengthen the protection of geographical indications and promote high-quality industrial development”, the expo has presented over 3,000 GI products from 28 countries in the world as well as 32 provinces in China. About 300,000 visitors have been registered during the expo, and more than 400 Chinese and international guests participated in the various forums.

The Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) of the European Commission has sent a congratulatory letter to the organizing committee, highlighting the excellent organization of the EU GI Pavilion at GIPE 2023.

As the Agreement between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the European Union on Cooperation on, and Protection of, Geographical Indications has been signed for three years, the organizing committee of the GIPE will continue to implement the outcomes of the Agreement and deepen China-EU cooperation on GI industry.
